The 2004 Triumph Thruxton is a standard motorcycle created by the iconic British brand. Described by many as the perfect example of a cafe racer, this model takes clear inspiration from the motorcycles of the 60s but combines it with the latest technology of this century.

The Triumph Thruxton 2004 started as a variation of the popular Bonneville of the same year, but with improved specs and more sports-oriented design.

The British brand started manufacturing this motorcycle in 2004, but its name was chosen from the late 60s. In 1969 Triumph Motorcycles won all three first places in the Thruxton Circuit, named after a town in Hampshire, England. With a successful beginning, the Thruxton still reflects the classic and sport-like silhouette.

Thruxton motorcycles combine the classic Cafe Racer design with modern performance given by the 865cc air-cooled parallel twin engine. The Thruxton 2004 has a dry weight of 451 lbs., an overall length of 87.1 in., and a seat height of 31.1 in.

The Triumph Thruxton 2004, also referred to as the Thruxton 900 in reference to the engine, has a very simple monochromatic design, available in two colors: Jet Black, and Sunset Red, the color scheme grows over the next few years. The design includes a line on the top of the fuel tank that continues to the end of the rear fairing, with the rest of the elements of the motorcycle in silver to complete the look.

Even though the 2004 Thruxton has a defined Cafe Racer style, the simple lines and minimalistic look make it a perfect model for a transformation.
