Um gole quente
A estética da Black Dragon, tal como o whisky escocês, é um gole quente de elegância intemporal. Uma silhueta única acompanhada por uma paleta de cores clássica: preto, cromo e ouro.
O depósito da mota foi pintado de preto e decorado com uma grande lágrima cromada. Ambas as cores divididas por uma linha feita com folha de ouro. Tanto a cúpula como os guarda-lamas seguem a mesma estética em preto com detalhes em ouro.
At Tamarit Motorcycles, each project is a unique work of art. The choice of colors is a meticulous process. After conversations with our clients, our design team explores hundreds of color swatches to find the exact color that will bring the final result to life. Each shade is a story in itself.
In Black Dragon, every nuance has been carefully considered. The intense black symbolizes a passion for speed, while the metallic silver evokes the elegance of classic motorcycles. Both colors come together in harmony through a golden line in gold leaf, a touch of luxury in every detail. Gold leaf is a hand-applied technique that involves applying extremely thin sheets of gold to various materials, usually for decorative purposes.

Menção especial à eletrónica deste projeto que foi totalmente refeita e com especial atenção aos acabamentos. Um acabamento a outro nível que é suportado pela grande funcionalidade dos componentes Motogadget incluídos na mota. De destacar também o novo conta-quilómetros digital incrustado na mesa de direção.
O cérebro da mota é representado pela mais vanguardista centralina do mercado, também acompanhada por uns piscas dianteiros e traseiros. Graças ao nível de tecnologia implementado nesta mota, é possível monitorizar o seu estado em tempo real, com uma app que pode ser instalada no smartphone.
In this project, a sporty aesthetic has been a priority in the creation process. This can be seen in the red thread that adorns the seat upholstery; it's a distinctive feature that highlights the sporty essence.
Although this time the seat does not extend onto the tank, we have incorporated a strip of upholstery with a perforated metal strip. This enhances the 'aggressive' aesthetics at the heart of the classic style. We maintain the essence with a touch of boldness.
Som Exclusivo
Na Black Dragon, foi criado um sistema de escapes exclusivo, feito à mão para o projeto. Trata-se de uma peça única que apenas colocámos noutra das nossas motos de referência. Uns escapes curtos por baixo que envolvem a tampa do estator, potenciando também o papel estético desta peça.
Regarding the work done on the exhausts of project 160, it is a unique piece in the world, previously used in our Emerald project, and which Christopher, the owner of Black Dragon, fell in love with from the beginning.
This has been one of the most complex pieces to create, due to its importance in the proper functioning of the motorcycle. This exhaust has been handcrafted by welding ring after ring of metal, and it has been certified by an engineer to ensure its safety.
Iluminação de vanguarda
O farol LED giroscópico adaptativo permite iluminar o caminho com grande amplitude e não te deixa no escuro nem nas curvas, pois trata-se de um farol que adapta as suas luzes para acompanhar o movimento do guiador, o que proporciona maior segurança. Além disso, no farol pode-se apreciar um anel LED que confere um toque exclusivo a esta iluminação e que, sem dúvida, acrescenta grande elegância à sua estética final.
Do Zero
Dentro das peças criadas exclusivamente para o projeto 160, a carenagem feita à medida ganha grande destaque por ser uma dessas peças imprescindíveis para potenciar um estilo Cafe Racer único. Esta peça foi feita à mão do zero e o seu interior foi cuidado para um acabamento visual mais apurado.
The fairing is one of the visual stars of our project. We have adapted the fairing to be the centerpiece of an authentic Café Racer, completely transforming the silhouette of the motorcycle.
The fairing not only fits perfectly into the project, but we have also handcrafted an interior support to integrate it. Every element counts in our pursuit of perfection.
Um brilho sedutor
Neste projeto, foi realizado um processo de cromagem em todas as peças metálicas da mota. Trata-se de um processo químico que deixa as peças das nossas motas brilhantes como um espelho. Cromar, niquelar ou latonar uma peça, leva centenas de horas de trabalho manual e artesanal.
Este processo diferencia-nos e posiciona-nos como uma marca de motos premium.
In our Black Dragon project, chrome and brass plating have played a major role. Hundreds of hours were spent chrome and brass plating everything from the exhaust to the motorcycle’s bolts.
Chroming, or the electrolysis process, is a chemical process that leaves the parts of our motorcycles shining like a mirror.
A custom gold trim has been added to the rim, a unique design fixed with screws and made by our team, as lenticular rims do not have this rim added.
Amortecimento num eixo
Para alcançar o resultado impressionante que se pode apreciar, tudo foi desenhado de raiz. E entre eles, encontra-se um monoamortecedor traseiro, e inclusive a nova base sobre a qual assenta o assento. Isto proporciona uma nova silhueta, muito diferente da oferecida pelo modelo original.
The functioning of the monoshock is the same as in the case of the dual shock. Among its benefits, it provides the necessary efficiency with the work of a single shock absorber, in addition to easier access to the rear wheel.
This style of swingarm breaks with the traditional double-arm design and also facilitates the adjustment of the chain tension (if the chain is the torque-transmitting element). The aesthetic aspect is also enhanced with this modification.

Desafiando a gravidade
O projeto 160 desafia a gravidade com um assento individual flutuante. Uma peça única que consiste num novo estofo e numa base metálica que foi fixada ao próprio chassis para servir de suporte do assento. Uma peça feita à mão com um acabamento limpo que confere novas linhas estéticas à mota.
In the case of Black Dragon, a floating single-seat has been chosen, meaning it is separated from the tank and placed on an iron plate specially created for it.
Roda lenticular
Sem Limites
Na Black Dragon foi incluído um componente de grande valor, a roda lenticular. Estas impedem que o ar penetre através dos raios, pelo que reduz as turbulências e esta nova aerodinâmica melhora a estabilidade durante a condução.
A custom gold trim has been added to the lenticular wheel, secured with screws. A unique design made by our team, as lenticular wheels do not typically have this added ring.
Additionally, a combination of chrome and brass finishes has been used, matching the rest of the metal parts of the motorcycle.
Carburador
Aumento de potência
Foi incluído um novo carburador, que vem com trombetas que servem para aumentar a potência a baixas rotações. As trombetas do carburador têm o objetivo de melhorar a entrada de ar no conduto de admissão e fazem-no ao alinhar o ar de forma equitativa, o que se traduz num maior volume de ar a entrar no carburador.
In addition to the trumpets, the image also shows the K&N filters placed to help cool the engine.
Refrigeração por dentro do chassis
Sistema de controlo de temperatura
Nada ficou por tocar, na 160 Black Dragon criou-se um novo sistema de refrigeração, de forma que a refrigeração do óleo é feita através do chassis.
The rings you can see are a true work of art and really difficult to make because they have been welded one by one without any errors, as oil passes through them and there must be no leaks.
This new cooling system inside the frame is designed to eliminate the radiator, creating a circuit for the oil to pass through the frame.

For a more minimalist finish that follows the elegant aesthetic line, the Motoscope Mini speedometer has been embedded in the triple clamps.
For the rear lighting, brake lights have been embedded in the base plate of the seat, which function not only as brake lights but also as turn signals.
The modifications made to the motorcycle required reinforcement of the frame, so the project was taken to the lab to conduct the necessary tests and certify its strength.
The rear fender has been fabricated from fiberglass and features an aluminum bracket machined in brass.
At the rear of the bike, a gold chain stands out, complementing the other gold details in the bike's aesthetics.
The length of the motorcycle has been increased due to the extended swingarm, with a total added length of 15 cm (6 inches).
A chromed Hummer sump guard has been added to the bottom of the motorcycle for this project.
