Força Aérea Real Britânica
O número 131 tem um significado especial para o proprietário da Thunderbird 1, pois em 1978 alistou-se na Força Aérea Real Britânica na 131ª turma de aprendizes. Ele quis representar isso na sua mota, através de um dos emblemas colocados na quilha, o qual ostenta a insígnia que usava no seu uniforme naquela época.
A personal touch with history. Our client sent us this emblem from the British Royal Air Force to incorporate it into his motorcycle, and we immediately knew that the best way to represent this detail was with motor emblems.
With digital design tools, we were able to recreate the lines to turn your emblem into a unique and meaningful motor piece. The result is a tribute with a hidden personal history!

Joias sobre duas rodas
O design desta moto foi muito bem pensado, pois Mike tinha as ideias muito claras. O futuro proprietário da moto queria que a sua moto fosse uma verdadeira joia e, obviamente, inspirou-se em algumas das nossas maiores joias sobre duas rodas. As motos que inspiraram a Thunderbird 1 foram a Jade, a Helios e a Gullwing; foi um verdadeiro desafio adaptar as qualidades destas motos para criar um conceito único.
Um Aspeto Racer
No que diz respeito às cores, pretendia-se obter um aspeto mais desportivo sem sair do conceito clássico. Para isso, escolheu-se a combinação de um vermelho metalizado intenso com prata metalizada. Além disso, entre ambas as cores, foi colocada uma linha dourada que separa e une ambos os tons ao mesmo tempo.
In Thunderbird 1, every nuance has been carefully considered. The intense metallic red symbolizes a passion for speed, while the metallic silver evokes the elegance of classic motorcycles. Both colors harmoniously come together through a golden stripe, adding a touch of luxury to every detail.

Thunderbird 1
Estética Desportiva
Para o assento sobre monocoque da Thunderbird 1, a ideia era fazer uma versão mais curta do assento realizado no nosso projeto Gullwing, mas sem que o estofo suba pelo depósito. Como extensão do assento, sobre o depósito foi colocada uma tira do mesmo material do assento sobre a qual assenta uma peça metálica que foi cromada e perfurada. Algo a destacar é que o assento monoposto foi estofado com material náutico preto e cosido à mão com fio vermelho. Sem dúvida, algo que marca o estilo desportivo do projeto.
In this project, a sporty aesthetic has been a priority in the creation process. This can be seen in the red thread that adorns the seat upholstery; it's a distinctive feature that highlights the sporty essence.
Although this time the seat does not extend onto the tank, we have incorporated a strip of upholstery with a perforated metal strip. This enhances the 'aggressive' aesthetics at the heart of the classic style. We maintain the essence with a touch of boldness.
Um Som Personalizado
Os escapes do projeto lembram os criados para a nossa moto Helios, embora com algumas alterações estéticas. Um sistema de escapes duplos por cima que faz com que a saída de escape se situe sob a traseira.
Além disso, ao longo do escape e nas pontas angulares, foram incorporadas grelhas de latão feitas à mão para evitar que o calor gerado por este entre em contacto direto com a perna do piloto. Uma peça única que foi fabricada de forma artesanal para esta moto.
This dual exhaust system has been meticulously welded piece by piece and then taken to a laboratory for an engineer to certify its safety. A unique piece handcrafted specifically for this motorcycle.
Handmade grilles have been incorporated into the exhaust, fitting the pipe to prevent the heat generated from it from coming into direct contact with the rider's leg.
Sistema de Refrigeração pelo Chassi
O projeto 131 Thunderbird recebeu um novo sistema de refrigeração, desta forma o arrefecimento do óleo é feito através do chassis, o que diminui a temperatura e torna possível dispensar o radiador.
The rings that can be seen are a work of art and really challenging because they have been welded one by one without any flaws, as the oil flows through there and must not have any leaks.
This new cooling system inside the chassis is done to eliminate the radiator, creating a circuit for the oil to pass through the frame.
Maior estabilidade e manuseio
Na parte traseira da moto, pode-se observar o monoamortecedor. Este novo componente utiliza uma única válvula que exerce a pressão igualmente, ao contrário dos amortecedores duplos. O que se traduz em um melhor manuseio e estabilidade.
The functioning of the mono-shock suspension system is the same as in the case of the twin-shock system. Among its benefits, it achieves the necessary efficiency with the work of a single shock absorber, as well as providing easier access to the rear wheel.
This swingarm style breaks away from the traditional dual-arm design and also simplifies the adjustment of chain tension (if it were the power transmitting element). The aesthetic aspect is also enhanced by this modification.
Uma silhueta inconfundível
A quilha e a carenagem deste projeto são peças que saltam à vista, conferindo-lhe uma silhueta inconfundível. Ambas foram feitas à mão e adaptadas à mota, procurando linhas mais aerodinâmicas que cortem o vento. Estes elementos são essenciais para alcançar o estilo Cafe Racer.
A custom gold trim has been added to the rim, a unique design fixed with screws and made by our team, as lenticular rims do not have this rim added.
The fairing and the belly pan are the visual stars of our project. We've adapted the fairing to make it the centerpiece of a true Café Racer, completely transforming the bike's silhouette.
The fairing not only fits perfectly into the project, but we've also handcrafted an interior support to integrate the odometer into the base. Every element matters in our pursuit of perfection.
Posição Cafe Racer
O prolongamento do braço oscilante atrasa a posição do piloto, uma das características mais distintivas do estilo Cafe Racer. As modificações realizadas na moto exigiram um reforço do chassis, pelo que o projeto foi levado para o laboratório para realizar os testes pertinentes e comprovar a sua resistência.
This swingarm style breaks away from the traditional double-arm design, and it also simplifies chain tension adjustment (if the chain is the torque-transmitting component). This modification enhances the aesthetic aspect as well. with this modification.
To ensure safety and strength after the swingarm modification, a chassis reinforcement was carried out. This reinforcement was implemented using the part visible in the photo. The new piece underwent rigorous testing in the laboratory to guarantee its quality and durability.
High technology
The brain of the motorcycle
We have included one of our essentials, the Motogadget speedometer, for a cleaner and more minimalist finish. Incorporating other Motogadget components, such as the ECU and the front and rear turn signals is also worth noting.
At Tamarit, we always seek the best optimization of the electronics in our motorcycles, and the ECUs function as the brain of the motorcycles. That's why we include the Motogadget ECU in our projects, which is the most comprehensive on the market. Thanks to its functions and the app, the motorcycle can be fully monitored through your smartphone.
Chrome and brass Plating
A handcrafted work
In this project a chrome plating process has been carried out on parts such as the seat posts, the shock absorber or the engine. It is a chemical process that leaves the parts of our motorcycles shining like a mirror. Chroming, nickel plating or brass plating a part takes hundreds of hours of manual work and craftsmanship.
This process differentiates us and positions us as a premium motorcycle brand.
Otros detalles de Thunderbird
The odometer has been inserted into the base of the fairing, all handcrafted to fit the motorcycle's aesthetics.
In this case, and because the design called for it, a gold-colored chain has been installed.
Another noticeable component is the K&N air filters, made from cotton with oil-lubricated layers, providing up to 50% more air flow than traditional paper air filters.
At the rear of the seat, it's worth noting that the brake lights/turn signals have been integrated into the structure of the tail section itself. Additionally, you can also see the project's identifying plate.
New tires, Beringer brake discs, and brake calipers have been placed at Thunderbird's feet.
At the motorcycle's controls, the control switches, Motogadget turn signals, mirrors, and Kustom Tech levers stand out.
A front fender has been positioned just under the fairing, with its support brass-plated to maintain the aesthetics.
Every detail has been meticulously cared for, including the chrome plating and brass work on all the screws.
