Our operating mode
Beyond bikes
When people choose us to carry out a bike project, they don't do it just to have another bike. Those who come to Tamarit are looking for a specialised team to help them get the bike of their dreams, but also to accompany them beyond the purchase process.
We offer not only our bikes, but also our operating mode in the experience we have acquired by becoming the largest builder of Triumph engines in the world.
Motor e estilo
Banco embutido no depósito
The Monaco seat incorporates a very special leather upholstery, in this case, the leather has been subjected to a treatment that makes it have that "vintage" look in its color, without losing the quality of the material.
The digital key is unlocked when approaching the NFC mo-lock, the contactless ignition is switched on or off. This component has also posed a challenge for the seat upholstery, having to tuck the electronic key receiver in before upholstering. The receiver has been placed at the front end.
The seat goes up the tank until it almost reaches the fuel cap, for which the hole had to be made with a hammer, without drilling the tank. The latter has also made its placement complicated, because as it cannot be drilled, a system of tabs has had to be developed.
Monocoque
This time, the functionality of the hydraulic monocoque is activated only by a button located on the lower part of the seat support. A new mechanism developed by our team, which makes it very easy to access the bike's electronics.
In connection with the above, once the monocoque is raised, we find access to the electronics of the bike, which in Monaco has been simplified and relocated to be hidden under the end of the seat.
This new cooling system inside the chassis is made to eliminate the radiator, in this way has been made a circuit for the oil to pass through the chassis. The rings that can be seen, are a work of art and really difficult to achieve, as they have been welded one by one without fail, as the oil passes through there and should not have any leakage.
Monoamortecedor
Estabilidade e Manuseio
This style of swingarm breaks with the traditional double arm design, and also makes it easier to adjust the chain tension (if it is the torque transmitting element). The aesthetics are also enhanced with this modification.
The way the single shock works is the same as with the double shock. Among the benefits of this, the necessary efficiency is obtained with the work of a single shock absorber, in addition to easier access to the rear wheel.
Homologação do projeto
Guarda-lamas traseiro e jante lenticular
A custom golden trim has been added to the lenticular rim, fixed with screws. A unique design made by our team, since lenticular rims do not have this rim added. In addition, we have played with the combination of chrome and brass finishes, unifying with the rest of the metal parts of the bike.
Gyroscopic LED headlight
State-of-the-art lighting
The adaptive gyroscopic LED headlight illuminates the road with great amplitude and will not abandon you even in curves, as it is a headlight that adapts its lights to accompany the movement of the handlebars, which provides greater safety. The most avant-garde lighting system on the market.
This has been one of the most complex parts to create, because of its importance in the proper functioning of the bike and because it has never been done before. This exhaust has been manufactured by welding ring after ring of metal, in a handmade way and going through an engineer who could certify its safety.
Chrome and nickel plating
A seductive shine
In this project, shine is ensured by chrome plating all of the motorcycle's metal parts. Chrome plating is a chemical process that leaves the parts of our motorcycles shining like a mirror. Chroming, nickel plating, or brass plating a part takes hundreds of hours of manual labor and craftsmanship.
This process differentiates us and positions us as a premium motorcycle brand.
High-tech
The brain of the bike
One of our must-haves, the Motogadget speedometer, has been included for a cleaner, more minimalist finish. It is also worth mentioning the incorporation of other Motogadget components, such as front and rear turn signals, engine control unit (ECU) and proximity key holder.
From Tamarit we are always looking for the best optimization of the electronics of our motorcycles and the engine control units work as the brain of the motorcycles, so in our projects we include the Motogadget engine control unit, the most complete on the market. Thanks to its functions and the app, the motorcycle can be completely monitored through your Smartphone.
For a more minimalist finish in line with the elegant aesthetics, the Motoscope Mini speedometer has been inserted into the triple trees. Innovative technology combines maximum display surface with minimum housing dimensions. For optimal readability in dark, sunlight and dawn conditions, the brightness of the LEDs varies automatically.
More details of the project
A Cafe Racer style is characterized by a low handlebar that ensures that Racer riding position along with mirrors down low.
On this occasion, Monaco sports hand-made chrome exhausts adapted by Tamarit.
Protecting the lower part of the bike, our Hummer sump guard has been fully chromed to match the harmony of the rest of the components.
In this case, the rear light has also been the spot chosen to place the emblem with the name of the project.
We have chosen to place the license plate holder on the side of the bike.
For the first time, the engine cover has been perforated offering a unique and singular design.
When making some of the modifications, the frame has had to be reinforced and passed the relevant tests by a laboratory to prove its resistance.
Its golden chain gives the bike a neat and elegant aesthetic.
Another component that can be seen is the K&N power filters, made of oil-lubricated layered cotton offers up to 50% more air flow than traditional paper air filters.
The extension of the swingarm moves back the rider's position, one of the most distinctive features of the Cafe Racer style. For this project, a fiberglass rear fender has been created from scratch with an aluminum support that has been machined in brass.
On 120 Monaco, Beringer brake calipers are also included.
