Inspired by the great Marvel character, the muscular green-skinned Hulk who possesses incredible physical strength, and who better than his alter ego, Dr. Banner, to name this charismatic carbureted Thruxton.
Specialists
The largest Triumph motorcycle transformer
Our added value lies in specializing in neo-classic Triumph engines, which has made us the world's largest specialist in these engines. No one has created as many motorcycles with the same engine, with over 170 unique motorcycles showcased on our website and around 50 that we haven't showcased.
Our core value is the specialization and know-how we have acquired with each project.
The project has been carried out on the basis of a Thruxton 900 engine, and there is no style that fits better with it than the Cafe Racer. A combination that turns Dr. Banner into a true classic motorcycle in the purest Racer style.
The inspiration for choosing the color of the bike comes from the name it references. Its green color was meticulously chosen among several shades to bring greater importance to the classic aesthetic of the motorcycle. A color that highlights every shape of the motorcycle's silhouette, giving it a more "muscular" appearance.
The seat of this project is embedded in a hydraulic monocoque, a piece made by hand in our facilities and whose goal is to provide better access to the electronics. The bike has a button under the seat that activates the monocoque to lift and provide access to the electronics that have been simplified and relocated right there.
This time, the functionality of the hydraulic monocoque is activated only by a button located on the lower part of the seat support. A new mechanism developed by our team, which makes it very easy to access the bike's electronics.
In connection with the above, once the monocoque is raised, we find access to the electronics of the bike, which in Monaco has been simplified and relocated to be hidden under the end of the seat.
For the 126 Dr. Banner motorcycle, more aerodynamic design lines were sought to simulate cutting through the air. To achieve this, a large and well-designed fairing has been included. That gives an aesthetic and aerodynamic plus.
On the front of the motorcycle, we find an old acquaintance, the Gullwing X windshield. This is one of those pieces that gives value to its Cafe Racer style, but inside it, we have placed a high-tech gyroscopic headlight. This cutting-edge component allows for a wide illumination of the road and adapts its lights to accompany the movement of the handlebar, providing greater safety.
The adaptive LED gyroscopic headlight allows you to illuminate the road with great amplitude and will not leave you even in the curves, as it is a headlight that adapts its lights to accompany the movement of the handlebars, which provides greater safety.
In 126 Dr. Banner, another house brand component is also appreciated, the exhausts are the same as those presented in another emblematic motorcycle, Circe. It is an above-exhaust system, fully chromed and equipped with a brass-finished protective grille.
To adapt this custom exhaust, it had to be taken to the laboratory, where different bends were tested and each weld had to be perfect, and fully pressurized.
The brass trim that appears on the exhaust was made by hand in the workshop, welding one by one the metal bars and was given with a radial until it was flat, in order to integrate it into the exhaust.
The way the monoshock works is the same as with the double shock. Among the benefits of this, the necessary efficiency is obtained with the work of a single shock absorber, in addition to easier access to the rear wheel.
When fitting the monoshock, we were forced to completely redo the chassis. This new chassis that our team created had to be taken to a laboratory to check that the reinforcement made in the chassis was adequate.
For a cleaner and more minimalist finish, one of our recurring technological components has been included: the Motogadget speedometer. But this component not only has a great aesthetic finish, but together with the installed ECU, it provides the motorcycle with great technology options.
At Tamarit, we always seek the best optimization of the electronics of our motorcycles and ECUs function as the brain of motorcycles. That's why we include the most complete ECU on the market, the Motogadget ECU, in our projects. Thanks to its functions and app, the motorcycle can be completely monitored through your smartphone.
Chrome and nickel plating
A seductive shine
In this project, shine is ensured by chrome plating all of the motorcycle's metal parts. Chrome plating is a chemical process that leaves the parts of our motorcycles shining like a mirror. Chroming, nickel plating, or brass plating a part takes hundreds of hours of manual labor and craftsmanship.
This process differentiates us and positions us as a premium motorcycle brand.
Otros detalles de Dr. Banner
Moving to the front, both the CNC-machined triple trees and our Pantera springs have also been chromed. In the controls of 126 Dr. Banner, we find Kustom Tech chrome levers, accompanied by Motogadget turn signals.
The bike's length has been increased thanks to the extension of the swingarm, with a total added length of 15 cm/6 in.
Rear lights embedded in the metal base of the seat, where the project's identification plate can also be seen.
In order to continue the silhouette lines and provide greater grip to the rider, the seat has been inserted into the fuel tank.
On the motorcycle, Galfer brake discs can be seen and the brake calipers have been given a brass finish.
18-inch wheels and classic tires.
The front fender installed in this project comes with a bracket that has been brass-plated to match the bike's aesthetic.
Every detail has been taken care of, such as the chrome and brass-plating of all the screws.
In this project, in addition to the rear, the bike's name emblem has also been placed on the belly pan.
Another component that can be seen are the K&N filters, made of cotton with layers lubricated with oil, which offer up to 50% more air flow than traditional paper air filters.
During some of the modifications, the frame had to be reinforced and passed the relevant tests by a laboratory that certifies its strength.
Every detail has been taken care of, such as the chrome and brass-plating of all the screws.
