A nice chance

The meeting between Tamarit Motorcycles and the owner of the future Bizarra coincided with the world presentation of the new Scrambler 1200. On March 28th, a large part of the classic motorcycling community gathered at the Triumph Alicante facilities. As it could not be otherwise, part of the Tamarit team was present and had the pleasure to greet several friends and clients and meet José, a biker that we were lucky to meet thanks to Paco, a friend of the Tamarit family.

José told us that a few days ago he contacted us through a contact form that we have on our website to discuss the possibility of starting a project together. We were certainly surprised, as we thought he was a potential Scrambler 1200 clients.

But no, he was there accompanying some friends, since he was already a happy owner of a neoclassic Triumph, nothing more and nothing less than a T120. The day was fantastic: we greeted several friends, we met the Scrambler 1200 live and direct in its two versions and we brought a future project with us. From a motorcycle builder's point of view, what more could you ask for?

The start of something big

A few days later, we met with José in a more relaxed and working environment and began to put the final touches to the project that would shape the Triumph Bonneville motorcycle of his dreams. Tamarit Motorcycles, with very few exceptions, always carries out its projects to the client's liking, and it is basically the owner who takes the baton of the whole symphony that is finally what becomes a project done with us. Many times these projects take shape based on ideas provided by the client and that, finally, are reflected in a small sketch that we make by hand.

For clients with a larger budget, a hyper-realistic computer composition is made, in which vectors and renderings give rise to a reliable image of what will be the motorcycle seen in profile. In the case of the Bizarra project, the bike was very clear and so was the concept, José's Triumph Bonneville and the style would be clearly focused on a multipurpose Brat Style.

Bizarra Kit

Once the Triumph Bonneville in the operating room, we began to develop from 0, for this and for another project done a couple of months earlier, a new seat that would later go on sale. In this case it would be baptized as the Bizarra seat, in honor of the first motorcycle that carried it. The Bizarra is a seat shorter than the original and narrower, so that the chassis would be longer than the seat itself, to get a very 1980s look.

Unique details

A fender and an LED light inserted inside the chassis would also be installed to complete the seat and bars part of the chassis. The damping section was not overlooked either and the Bizarra project was equipped with higher HAGON shock absorbers and higher performance, which would go up to 37 cm of normal lift. Another adjustment that would be made to the height of the motorcycle would be to lengthen the forks by 3 centimeters to achieve the desired height at the request of the client, both for the look that José wanted and for his height and riding position.

Go all in

The wheels with which it would be equipped Bizarra would be a Heideanau, both front and rear, and also in the motor area would include our chaincovers, the side covers Muralla, the Yunque sump guards, short fender, headlight grid, four line brackets. The mirrors at the end of the handlebars and motogadget turning signals, would be the main pieces that make up this project in the handlebar area. Two of the imported parts that we would like to highlight in this project are the EMD engine covers, which you can find on our website and also the Zard Racing exhausts without catalytic converter, which you can also find available on our website to order them imported.

A day to remember

Bizarra, like most of Tamarit's projects, was presented in our showroom during a pleasant summer afternoon. José had the pleasure of sharing that afternoon with friends and family where he could meet in person the bike of his dreams for the first time finished. In Tamarit we always like to make our clients feel special for a day, and for us it is a pleasure to see that smile on his face every time the fabric that covers it shows the result of our work.

Projects that join people

We always say that after the Triumph motorcycles project we usually get a friend and in this case the rule was true again: there are people with whom you connect immediately and this was the case of José, a really amazing guy and we are more than happy to have met at that presentation party, not only for the project he entrusted us, but for the experience of having dealt with a person of such human quality.
