This story could be described as a "stroke of luck". Fabio, the owner of bike #62 came to us with a problem with no apparent solution and if there is one thing that motivates the Tamarit Motorcycles team it is a challenge. The bike had suffered a blow to the rear and had been taken to a dealer where it had been considered as a near total loss due to not having an “alleged” repair. It only took a little time for Tamarit's workshop to find a solution and Fabio was able to enjoy his bike again. Of course, the story did not end there.
Once Fabio's Bonneville SE had the chassis repaired, he did not hesitate to carry out a project with us and finally get the desired look on his Triumph motorcycle. And that's how began one of those projects that the Tamarit team likes so much.
The proposed design for this Cafe Racer involved a risky combination, but as we have said before, Fabio trusted in our experience and did not hesitate to accept the proposal. The particularity that distinguishes this bike is to keep the wide handlebars because the client is 1.90 m tall and, in this way, it was going to be more comfortable to ride. In addition, in this project we have managed to finalize and present our new Jarama seat handmade by the team.
Among the parts included in this project, we find the already usual Ruby cover kit or the mini odometer from the German brand Motogadget. It is true that we are passionate about the neoclassical range of Triumph motorcycles, but we also confess that perhaps the Bonneville SE, which served as the basis for the project, is the model that has the most esthetic difficulty due to its 17-inch front wheel. In this case, we were able to modify this “flaw” by changing said tire for another with a thick double profile.
