2009 Triumph Scrambler

The 2009 Triumph Scrambler is an off-road classic motorcycle presented by the British manufacturer for the first time in 2006. This motorcycle is a reinterpretation of a popular model from the 50s. As an off-road motorcycle, the Scrambler can perform impeccably on paved and unpaved roads, which makes it a novelty and an incredible addition to the modern classic series of the British brand Triumph bikes. These are the updates and modifications of the Triumph Scrambler 2009.

Triumph Scrambler 2009

Remarkable success

The Triumph Scrambler takes inspiration from the TR6 Trophy, another Triumph model presented back in 1956 and manufactured until 1973 with remarkable success. The TR6 Trophy had an incredible performance and style for the time, but its popularity can be attributed to its appearance in the movie “The Great Escape”. In this classic film, Steve McQueen’s stunt double, Bud Ekins, performed what is still known as the best motorcycle stunt of all times.

With such an inspiration source, the Triumph Scrambler 2009 is an ode to the 50s motorcycles with an incredible performance thanks to its air-cooled, 865cc parallel twin engine.

Scrambler 2009

Elegant design

The Scrambler 2009 follows the style of motorcycles from the 50s, particularly the one it takes inspiration from. This motorcycle has mixed tires, wide handlebar, high seat, long-travel suspension, and twin exhausts with crossover headers placed high on the side of the motorcycle.

This Scrambler has a dry weight of 451 lbs., an overall length of 87.1 in., and an adjustable seat height of 32.5 in. Where the previous year's models went for a dual-tone design, the 2009 Scrambler chose an elegant monochromatic design available in the always elegant Jett Black and the Matt Khaki Green.
