Triumph Bonneville for sale

At Tamarit Motorcycles we have a wide variety of Triumph Bonneville for sale, including the Triumph Bonneville T100 for sale and Triumph Bonneville T120 for sale. This is a road motorcycle with a four-stroke, parallel-twin engine manufactured in three generations, each with a separate production run. The first two generations were manufactured by the now defunct Triumph Engineering in Meriden, England, first between the years 1959-1983, and then in the period 1985-1988. The third series, manufactured by Triumph bikes of Hinckley, Leicestershire, began in 2001 and continues to the present as a completely new design that closely resembles the original series.

The name of the Bonneville for sale derives from the famous Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, USA, where Triumph and other builders attempted to break the world motorcycle speed record.

Charismatic

57 years of history are not written every day. At the 1958 Earls Court Motorcycle Show (London), one of the most charismatic and legendary motorcycles in the history of two-wheelers could be seen for the first time, the beginning of a journey that is perpetuated in the new 2016 classic range of the British manufacturer.

Britishness

Bonneville for sale has always been synonymous with tradition, history and "Britishness", something that in the last 15 years has been reconverted into attractive, simple and neat retro frames for all audiences. In the 60's the Bonnie exemplifies the maximum in the field of superbikes: performance and sportiness in the same product. The symbol of two wheels.

Public figures such as Steve McQueen, James Dean, Marlon Brando, Bob Dylan, Clint Eastwood, David Beckham or Carl Fogarty are some of the best ambassadors of the brand, managing to identify themselves and extend the logo of the centenary English brand (let's not forget that it was born in 1902) beyond the merely commercial.

Younger than ever

The arrival of the 2016 range (presented at the EICMA in Milan) has been a real revolution in the retro segment in general and Triumph in particular. It could be considered as the third generation to make things easier since the old Bonneville was manufactured for almost 30 years and received a dozen updates. Now the Bonneville bikes for sale are composed of five new models that, in addition to taking care of the aesthetics, are powered by a water-cooled twin-cylinder engine and a lot of technology: Street Twin, Bonneville Black and T120, Thruxton and Thruxton R are the new spoiled girls of the brand.

As a mythical model that is, we take the opportunity to remember everything that has given of itself the nearly six decades of life of a myth that, far from aging, is younger than ever.

Sports bike

The Triumph factory in Meriden was responsible for giving birth to a new sporty flagship model in the late '50s, the evolution of other weighty mounts of the brand as the Speed Twin of 1939, the 6T Thunderbird of 1950 or the Tiger T110 Ton Ten of 1953.

The new bike, like its predecessor, was intended to be a sports bike, powered by a 650 cc parallel-twin with overhead valves (a design conceived in the '40s by Edward Turner) and built to meet the demands of the US market for more power, performance and speed. Its goal was to exceed 190 km / h from a new configuration with double Amal Monobloc carburetor 30 mm and that the initial version only yielded 46 hp at 6,500 rpm.
